Comments

The calm seas have made for a busy boat. The outside decks are sparkling clean thanks to the fantastic AIVIQ crew, and AAD expeditioners have since been lapping their way around the decks, enjoying the increasingly warm air. The daily 'deck of cards' workout saw six expeditioners squat, lift, and 'worm' (best described as a slow, undynamic burpee) their way through 52 cards. Lunch was pizza; a particular favourite for this group of expeditioners. Not long after, we were called to muster for a Man Overboard drill. As I write, yoga, Catan, and painting are all happening throughout the ship. There is a distinct buzz of energy in the air. Perhaps it is the pizza, or maybe it is the fact that we are only 48 hours away from land. Whatever the case, it is starting to sink in that we will soon be arriving.
