Another day rolling around in the Southern Ocean, each quieter than the previous, as the ships path approaches a low-pressure system and its associated increasing waves. We thought we had seen the last of the icebergs, yet, surprisingly, at 58°, we are still seeing the odd few dotted here and there. Those and the intermittent snow showers reminding us that there is still a considerable ocean to cross before we experience warmer climes. However, we can again enjoy the darkness of night, now back in the latitudes of the setting sun. This morning we moved out clocks forward, one hour closer to Hobart time.
