Comments

Surrounded by sooty albatross, and pods of humpback whales, we watch the last of the bergs sail by. The bridge a little quieter today as we get our first, albeit mild, sample of the ocean swells. For the majority of the newly embarked from Davis station, this is their first time transiting the Southern Ocean, having flown into Davis more than a year ago. The question for most is what will the oceans really be like and who will get sea sick. Only time will tell.
