The race is on! With the Happy Diamond departing Hobart today, also headed for Davis Station, it is now a friendly race between the AIVIQ (slow and steady) and the Happy Diamond (sleek and fast). Perhaps like the tale of the hare and the tortoise, it might come down to cunning rather than speed. Time will tell.
Meanwhile, onboard the AIVIQ the sentiment is much the same, slow and steady. Quiet days passing by with a book, movie, game of chess, quick lap around the outer decks and a peek into the mess to see what sweet treat we can indulge ourselves with. Cookies aside, today we had our first whale sighting, we hope the first of many more.

REGARDS: Anthea & Samantha
