Comments

AIVIQ continues to sail a track between a few small weather fronts and as a result we've enjoyed a relatively smooth ride since departing Macquarie Island. We do see a weather front on the horizon that will show us some Southern Ocean attitude in the next 24 hours, but what's a voyage without a little bit of rock and roll.

For now, the sun is out and there is time to walk the decks, enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of the open ocean. Expeditioners are excited to be under two days out from Hobart whilst AIVIQ's workforce are getting ready for a quick port call before heading again down the Derwent to Davis.

REGARDS: Christine & Jacob
