Last night the 2006 AFL Grand Final was played in the Main Lounge. A number of us AFL fans really enjoyed the game, even if we had seen it before. Most people had no idea who the winner was so that added a lot of enjoyment to the night and it was a very close game. West Coast Eagles beat Sydney Swans by 1 point. The football shaped cheese ball created by the galley was greatly appreciated and went down a treat.

We have not seen the sun out here for a number of days now and according to the forecast this will not change for a few days yet. This has not stopped people from frequenting the bridge for quiet time, reading, looking at the view or thinking about nothing in particular.

We went forward another hour last night and are now 2 hours behind Hobart time.

Cheers
Leanne & Matt
