Comments

Today is reminding us that we are in the harshness that can be the Southern Ocean. The wind currently is 35-40 knots with the occasional gust almost to 60 knots. The fog has rolled in and visibility is low. The swell is slightly higher than it has been over the last few days and every now and again a large wave comes along and the ship roll is bigger. We have more to come of this over the next few days indicated by the tying down of furniture and securing of cabins.

In the midst of this there is report writing (interspersed with the occasional lie down) and preparations for our arrival into Hobart early next week.

Cheers
Leanne & Matt
