The drop in temperature yesterday was evident as we crossed the Antarctic Convergence. This is where the warmer waters of the Southern Ocean meet the colder waters from Antarctica.
Standing on the bridge watching the ocean is very therapeutic, particularly as the water behind the ship is churned up as we travel through. The colours are like something you do not see anywhere else. It is hard to describe other than it is almost aqua but slightly greener.
