All our bags are packed and we’re ready to go! Today will be our last full day onboard the Happy Dragon and tomorrow morning we’ll sail up the Derwent river and into Hobart to finish our successful and efficient resupply voyage. Three ships set sail for Antarctica on 9 February and although it wasn’t a race, we will still claim line honors in the 2022 running of the ‘Hobart to Antarctica to Hobart’ as we sit back and wait for the Aiviq and Nuyina to arrive home and wish them safe passage. Our thanks once again to the crew of the Happy Dragon, the AAD shipping team, the teams at Davis and Mawson stations and of course the expedition team on board. We wish the Happy Dragon and her crew well as they venture onward, and for those who’ve been onboard since Voyage 1 to Casey, enjoy your return home to Australian soil and fresh air! Thank you, and V4 out.

Regards

Dave and Jacob
