Comments

AIVIQ arrived early Thursday morning and now with the majority of the operation completed, and the pig safely in the catcher, is preparing to transit back to Hobart. It is a long way to come for a three-day operation, but when it goes well it goes well.

It has not been without its challenges but great teams onboard AIVIQ, both expeditioners and crew, and at Davis have made it happen, efficiently and safely. Using every tool in the box, we had helos, haggs, JCB, fast rescue craft and IRB in the game when needed to refuel over 2000 metres of brash ice. Thanks for Davis putting on the 'Riviera' and the hospitality. Particular mention to Bloo Campbell, refueller extraordinare.
