Comments

In between work, we stretch our legs around the exterior decks and bridge as we cruise through icebergs north of Shackleton Ice Shelf. The ice report indicates 4000 features, we reckon we saw many of them yesterday, on a balmy +6C day, and everywhere you look is spectacular.

Sea life remains aplenty, with whales, seals and even a few penguins relaxing on ice flows along our route. We are also quite amazed at the heartiness of some of the smallest birds, like the snow petrel, as they circle us and even a few watch the ship glide by perched on a nearby iceberg.

ETA Davis is currently tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.
