Comments

The Southern Ocean has continued to show off as the pressure drops and the swell, wave and wind increase. AIVIQ remains north of the low's centre, conducting weather patterns, a little like a sailboat tacking, across our southwest course to Davis.

Crew and ship handling it well, although the ample roll, and pitch now and then, are keeping everyone on their toes. Bracing, holding on and re-lashing down gear are making up today's exercise routine. We are ready to commence work at Davis, and clocks will be retarded one more hour tonight to (+8) in anticipation, but our arrival will have to wait a few extra days as mother nature has other plans for us right now.

REGARDS: Christine & Bloo
