Comments

We continue are transit southwest and after a bit of swell and wind last night woke to a nearly still morning that transitioned into a beautiful day. The sun and pleasant weather are expected to be short lived as we brace for a few days of weather to welcome in the new year.

The chefs have been busy preparing for a new year's dinner complete with a dessert table and our small group of expeditioners are working hard to maintain our "first layer" of defence, ensuring not a meal is missed. Some of us have decided that a daily walk would make more room for cheese cake, so walking of the decks is now a thing.

We have commenced onboard briefings for refuelling of Davis and we are well down our checklists in preparation.

We wish all a Happy New Year from the mighty ship AIVIQ.

REGARDS: Christine & Bloo
