With soup back on the menu, thanks to less aggressive seas, and the sun trying to breakthrough the persistent cloud that has followed us for most of the voyage, everyone is feeling a bit sprightlier. Today, as we pass the halfway mark to Hobart, as well as crossing the Antarctic convergence into warmer waters, thoughts move towards our arrival in Hobart.
