There are days during resupply where operations settle in to a smooth, seamless cadence, of which we have had several. Today was not one of those days. Some hard-won items of RTA (return to Australia cargo) were delivered to the ship before increasing winds and a forecast for worsening conditions had us pack the barges away and prepare to head out of the harbor.
There is great speculation about what tomorrow will bring. Will the weather improve enough to continue cargo operations? Will we be able to get all the RTA stowed to the ship? Will there be ice-cream with lunch? And will we see the Nuyina weaving in through the bergs to Newcombe bay?
The anticipation of tomorrow.
