Merry Christmas to all our family and friends and especially to those eagerly waiting our arrival at Casey Station.
We are currently 12nm out from the Casey anchorage, and again we encounter ice. We persevere. Motivated to arrive at Casey and also accepting, that like all things Antarctic, matters can not be rushed, all will happen in due course, and usually at the choosing of nature.
The Windmill Islands is a welcome sight, as have the emperor penguins and orca whales we have been fortunate to catch a glimpse of on our approach. And now the view of the Casey red shed through the binoculars.
Welcome to Casey Happy Dragon.
REGARDS: Anthea and Misty.
