Today is a day for settling into the rolls and rhythms of the ocean. A "relatively" forgiving 3- 4m sea provides a chance to get our sea legs and prepare our cabins for the coming days. Generally, most things that are not packed away or attached and secured tend slide across tables before finding their way to the floor. And despite best efforts, there is always that one item, tucked in a drawer that will knock with each roll of the ship, just enough to disturb sleep. While we enjoy the simplicity of the day to day on board, with the only distractions being a good book to read, scanning horizon in search of whales, and the knocking of that mystery item in the drawer, our thoughts are never far from Casey Station as we start to work through plans for our arrival.
REGARDS: Anthea and Misty.
