Comments

With the sun finally breaking through days of overcast skies, and the smell of a smoky Australia Day BBQ on the back deck, we mark our final day in the open seas and aptly our arrival back into Australian waters. Several whales and a few seals cruised by to mark the occasion with us. This was followed by the obligatory viewing of the Australian film classic, "The Castle".
For most of those aboard, arriving in Hobart is merely a pause, a chance for some warmer weather, a restock of provisions and time to enjoy the serenity before turning the Happy Dragon southward again for Voyage 4, the Mawson and Davis resupplies.

We look forward to being alongside Macquarie No. 4 wharf Hobart at 0900hrs tomorrow, 27 January 2022.
