You know that the seas are rough when there is no soup for lunch. The kitchen apologetic that we were not going to be receiving the 3-course feast that we have come to expect as our midday meal. Of course, apologies are not needed and we all marvel that their ability to still serve up the traditional Sunday steak, cooked to perfection as always. For most of us, in these conditions, making the morning cup of tea or coffee feels like a task that requires three hands and a great deal of timing. Conditions are expected to ease this evening which should allow for both a good night's sleep and soup for lunch tomorrow.
