Comments

This morning a fire muster (drill) was conducted aboard, with all expeditioners mustering in the focsle whilst ship's crew responded to a simulated emergency scenario. Geographically, we are now back above 60, with an associated increase in ambient temperature. Administratively, report writing by members of the supervisory team continues as does preparations for V2. Recreationally: theatre movie screenings, group exercise routines, presentations and guitar sessions on maindeck are now to be complemented by board games with support presently being drummed up for this evening's scrabble game. Vocationally, amidst the veritable whirlwind of social commitments and sea-sickness medication induced stupors expeditioners must negotiate between meal times, a truly impressive array of education by correspondence courses are being completed by those aboard. Ranging in content from emergency management to adult education and linguistics, the faculties of higher learning represented on this voyage give 'remote' learning a whole new meaning.

Regards,

James, Jenn and Andy.
