We awoke this morning to a beautiful day in the River Derwent. Today's agenda was continuing our familiarisation with the vessel and working through our operational procedures including use of the barges which will carry our cargo from ship to shore in Antarctica. This afternoon we are turning our efforts towards preparing to depart for Casey Station this evening.
