A lazy day and chance to claw back some sleep after the last couple of busy weeks resupplying Mawson and Davis.

A muster was held at 1030 with all crew and expeditioners attending their muster stations with, or carrying full Antarctic survival kit. The muster included instruction and a demonstration on how to deploy and inflate a life raft.

The somewhat sinister group claiming to be the DFP "Dog Freedom Party" continues to agitate dissolution amongst the ranks. Meanwhile the hard working and diligent Voyage Leader, returned from breaking his fast only to find Stay (our much loved guide dog) chained to his toilet. Harsh and cruel treatment of our dear friend indeed. As a wonderful example of open and fair leadership, he immediately called the Captain (possibly the only other person aboard of any moral fibre?) and together they rescued Stay to the bridge, where the 3 watch officers could then be tasked with, and held accountable for Stays welfare.
