Comments

A quiet day on the ship today as many of the expeditioners / crew enjoy a rest day / return to normal duties following cargo operations.

An emergency muster (drill) was conducted on the heli-deck this morning with all expeditioners in attendance, standing by with their life jackets and emergency survival bags as the ship's crew ran a fire drill.

A relatively unimpeded journey through the sea ice yesterday and overnight, this morning we returned to open ocean and since then have been sailing Northwards with only the odd iceberg as a reminder of where we are coming from.

Regards,

James, Anthea & Gemma.
