We had a successful day yesterday, delivering 746,500 litres of fuel, as well as 178,000 litres of water to the Station. This morning has seen the ship receive RTA cargo, filling the Lower # 1 hold. After lunch we will move the pontoons covering Lowers #2 and discharge the remaining "for Davis" cargo, before resuming RTA cargo.
It's a cracker of a day down here. Glorious sunny weather, hardly a breath of wind: perfect weather for flying. The pilots thought so too, and have taken half of our Mawson-bound passengers to Mawson, and if conditions remain this good, will undertake a second flight late this afternoon.
