After a successful air pressure test of the fuel hose, pumping of fuel commenced at 1625 hours yesterday, and continues as I type this. So far, we have delivered 564,000 litres to Station, with about 160,000 to go. Water transfer began this morning, and will continue throughout the day, with 45,000 litres delivered so far. During this hiatus in cargo operations, the DVL and Chief Officer are finalising the cargo stow plan for the return voyage, and ship's crew are conducting a number of safety drills. A planned flight to Mawson had half of our Mawson-bound passengers packed and ready to go, only to be cancelled at the final hurdle due to a less than favourable weather briefing.
