It's that time of the voyage. Generate the reports. Get the requisitions and work orders in. update the registers. review the procedures. and filing - there's always filing.
We're weather routing our way back to Hobart. A wonderfully quiet stretch of ocean and atmosphere has presented itself between Prydz Bay and the BANZARE Bank and beyond - almost due north all the way. We'll continue north and follow that quiet stretch until the first strong SSW to SW'ly airflow developes, then we'll head NNE and then NE and so on as the weather system morphs into a typical 'filthy fifties' gale.
With a bit of luck and some skullduggery we'll continue to keep that wind on our stern and reap the benefit in speed and comfort, and make it back to Hobart as efficiently as possible!.
Cheers
Gerry, Andy and Misty
