Yesterday went well and we were able to break ice to the wharf and then commence cargo operations.
We returned to the pond off West Arm this morning and continued cargo operations, hampered by the need to keep 3-4 tonnes of cargo on the barge at all times so it could break through the ice to the wharf.
We took our first customers with a ticket home onboard transferring them to the ship by barge. We also sent the team of three navy hydrographers ashore to start their survey work which includes 50 hours non stop tide monitoring.
Cheers
