Comments

By yesterday afternoon all of the cargo had been transferred ashore. A team of Mawson winterer's also spent the day ashore meeting their Davis counterparts and familiarising themselves with the buildings and machinery on stations.

We sat on the anchor and had a still night with no rocking and rolling.
This morning we sent the remaining Mawson expeditioners and round trip scientists and support staff ashore for a familiarisation and tour and to give the watercraft operators a good feel for Antarctic conditions whilst the last shore based team finished up their work before bringing everyone back to the ship for a 1400 departure to Mawson.

All in all a very smooth mid season resupply and visit to Davis, now off to Mawson for the big event - the annual Mawson resupply...

Finally a big hi from us all to our number one reader and follower; Mrs Carnogursky!

Cheers

Andy and Misty
