Comments

Has it only been a week? It seems like we've known each other all our lives.

There has been a degree of interest in the other kind of Aurora Australis (the one found in the sky) and a number of people have been inquiring as to the chances of seeing one from the ship. Given that the sun will not be dipping below the horizon by the time we reach Davis, it's now or never and, despite some serious expectation management from Voyage Management, it turned out that last night was the night with some nice green bands seen running east-west by a lucky few.

The Voyage Leader continues to antagonise the sky gods by predicting zero chance of aurora tonight. In the meantime, we continue our trek westwards.
