There was a slight change in tempo this morning as we switched over to two engines and made a slight course adjustment to bring us onto a more south-westerly heading. We're now making up to 13 knots whereas until now it's been 11 on a good day.
The ship is still rolling a bit but the weather chart tells us that things are much worse directly northwards. Nonetheless it still takes a certain amount of good judgement and decisive action to successfully get your trousers on in the morning. Once we reach sixty degrees south, we expect to turn and run on a westerly course for some time.
We are still slowing down at night in case of icebergs and the iceberg sweep officially kicked off last night. Most expeditioners seem to be keeping their powder dry for now but a few audacious souls have gone early. You never know your luck in these latitudes
