A quiet ship today as many of the expeditioners catch up on lost sleep last night due to "choppy" seas. The ship's doctor's store of sea-sickness tablets has been a popular destination thus far, and yet little loss of appetite from what's been observed at meal times. A hardy bunch these expeditioners are. It is expected that winds will increase tonight before gradually easing over Saturday/Sunday. Tonight we will be treated to a presentation by a representative from ANARE screening a documentary film shot at Mawson and a slide presentation on the making of said documentary.
Science projects ongoing (more on those in coming sitreps), whilst planning continues with our counterparts at Kingston and on station for re-supply.
With kind regards,
James and Dave
