Comments

After tinkering with westerly directions (including north of west, and then direct to Capetown) to minimise the rolling we were experiencing yesterday, we eventually settled on due south and following seas overnight. This gave most people a decent nights rest, and was easier on the ship, the gear, us, and the galley! Today we have nudged our nose around to the southwest, and are being stalked by a particularly low low pressure system, so the rolling has started again. "Que sera sera", as they say in the classics.
All aboard are doing well, and looking forward to our first iceberg, snow petrel, seaice floe, or visit from King Neptune. I suspect we're assured of all at some stage soon.
Regards, Doug & Andrew
