Comments
Some new shipmates made an appearance at meals today, which was great to see: welcome aboard! Ship-based field training continues, with instruction in seaice travel, radio use, ropes & knots, survival kits, and map and compass. We're moving well in the swell, only pitching, which isn't too hard to take. We're high in the Roaring Forties today, and the "breeze" has resulted in a reduction in our speed over the ground. Seawater temperatures are dropping, so we're heading the right way...
Regards, Doug & Andrew
