Comments

No Operations again today. Steaming off East Coast Macquarie Island. The Southerly wind and swell strengthened overnight, and with no lee to hide behind we bounced about. Despite that it has been a good day on board although quiet. All four of us have relaxed and enjoyed the spectacular experience of watching the sizzling wind on a rough sea. A pair of Orcas cruised past at one point. We are also enjoying the opportunity to get to know the crew a little more.

We have had regular chats with station and are all set for a day of operations tomorrow weather Gods willing. The forecast is for an easing of wind and sea.

Cheers Don and Helen
