A huge day for everyone on ship and shore today to exploit a narrow weather window to deliver fuel to the island. It takes a huge team effort to do this task to float a hose ashore and pump fuel into the station tanks from the ship. In all we delivered 186,700 litres to the station. Preparation started well before dawn to be finished by early afternoon. Soon after finishing the fog descended and we couldn't see the island from the ship while a steady 25 knot breeze blew making it cold for all those outside. Terrific to have completed this task on our resupply of the island. The last field teams are in now and the helicopters even managed some more field flying jobs which was great. Tomorrow we start to load everything back onto the ship as we wrap up the resupply. It will take some time.
