Yesterday we had a great run and sent 38 people ashore and priority cargo in the narrow window we got. This morning we started again in challenging weather with low cloud and 40kts though thankfully the wind dropped enough to start operations. Anchored in Buckles Bay we initially did some LARC cargo loads and more helicopter passenger transfers for those needing to work ashore, then continued the afternoon with helicopter sling load cargo before finally recovering our day tripping folks to the ship. A fantastic effort by the ship and station. 72 loads of cargo discharged in all. It's been wet and windy and cold for all those working outside who will enjoy dinner and a rest tonight. Now to plan tomorrow.
