Our good progress has continued and we are very nearly at Macca while the sea, swell and wind builds slowly behind us. The ride is still comfy though and the Aurora is very much at home here in the Southern Ocean. Our briefings have continued apace so that we are very nearly all ready to launch into operations at the island when the weather allows us to. A forecast of 40-50 knot winds overnight and into tomorrow means we may have few chances in the near term. If one presents though, we will be ready. The moist air blowing down from the North behind us means visibility is poor so we haven't seen a lot of seabirds, but I'm sure we will in time. See you soon Macca!
