Comments

It seems I set a bad example yesterday as the Deputy Voyage Leader slept in this morning and missed our morning meeting. Our body clocks do get a bit out of kilter as we have had ten times changes since we left Hobart 39 days ago – we have two more to go before we are on the same time as Hobart.

We have a busy social calendar today. This morning we set up all of the auction items for tonight's auction. Some exceptionally talented people have created an array of fine works including clocks, bedside lamps, ship in a bottle, jewellery, key rings, penguin made out of engine parts, photographs – the list goes on. The action starts this afternoon with a movie festival (popcorn included in the price of your ticket) and the Neptune Certificate presentation (for the first time travellers by sea south of 60 degrees) followed by the auction. Proceeds from the Movie Festival and the auction will go to Camp Quality.

Cheers
Leanne, Simon and Amy
