We had a great day of cargo operations yesterday. We discharged all of our Davis cargo to station and commenced loading RTA (return to Australia) cargo. A drill rig was loaded which was an interesting task. It was another piece of cargo that takes quite a bit of thought on how to lift it and where to position it on the barge. It was a successful day.
Today we kick started right on time with some more interesting loads. An AAD workboat, its trailer and a cradle that it sits in for transport on the ship. If that was not enough we then loaded another workboat that has been undertaking hydrographic work over the summer.
There are some more of our Davis friends joining us on the ship today.
We are nearing the end of today's cargo operations so will see what tomorrow brings.
Cheers
Leanne, Simon and Amy
