Comments

The ship is gently rolling as we slowly amble towards Mawson. Our current plan is to be in Kista Strait early tomorrow morning and when the weather is within our working parameters we can begin resupply. We have been on the ship now for 16 days and we are all keen to start operations. We are also keen to see our friends at Mawson, some who will have been away from home for nearly 18 months by the time we return to Hobart.

The ship looks great at the moment as overnight there was a reasonable amount of snowfall that has settled on the decks and cargo. It is slowly melting but looks pretty good against the orange of the ship.

A quiz night has been organised for tonight. It was scheduled for Tuesday night but the seas were not kind to us which meant many of us did not move around much. Proceeds from tonight will go to Camp Quality.

Cheers

Leanne, Simon and Amy
