Comments

The final ice station was a success and the trace metals team now have
all the ice cores and samples they need.

After leaving the ice station we headed north to the Mertz Trough area
where we did another 8 CTD's before heading north to pass through the
final band of pack ice to open waters.

We are now making out way west to the SR3 transect looking for a final
catch of krill before completing the last 3 CTD's and turning north for
Hobart.
