Comments
As we make our way east to the Mertz area we have had a team monitoring the echo sounders looking for krill. They have had reasonable success and we have now slowed, turned around and shot the RMT (Rectangular Midwater Trawl) five or six times.
The RMT is a net used for catching live krill that has an opening like a letter box which can be opened and closed at specific depths and times.
