Comments
We entered the pack ice that separates the Dalton Polynya from the southern ocean at 8pm last night. It has been slow and heavy going to get this far, but we should break free and be in the open water of the Polynya later this afternoon or evening.
We have lots of plans and variations of plans depending on what we find at the margin between the Totten Glacier and the pack ice. Watch this space!
Cheers
Andy and Mike
