A very busy day of meetings and briefings followed by the environmental biosecurity cleaning of all clothing and equipment going ashore.
Around midday we retrieved an acoustic whale mooring from 200m below the surface and deployed a replacement.
We then calibrated the ships positioning system before running our first CTD to test the winch and equipment.
We are now on the hunt for more krill.
