Comments

Planning and training meetings have now started in earnest. Topics covered so far include a refuel initial planning meeting, krill fishing procedures, watercraft operators met to talk about watercrafty things and training sessions on sea ice recovery were held.

Another ARGO float has been deployed and the continuous plankton recorder reloaded with a new cartridge to allow collection for another 350nm.

The water temperature has now dropped below 3C and we will start monitoring the echo sounders looking for krill from midnight tonight.

Cheers

Andy and Mike
