Comments

It's a sunny day here on the southern ocean as we traverse the longitudes back towards Hobart at around 14 knots.

Tonight we are having what has become known as the monster clock change to switch us from Davis time (UTC+7) to Hobart time (UTC+11). Previously we have done this progressively throughout the course of a voyage at the rate of perhaps one hour every three days but as a scientific experiment we are going to attempt to make four hours of our life disappear at 1am tomorrow morning.

Amongst other things; that means that the next sitrep is just 20 hours away.
