Overnight we hit a bit of a rough patch and at about 2am all of the paperwork in the Voyage Leaders cabin decided to rearrange itself as we did a 28 degree roll. It may take a while to get used to the new filing system but so far so good.
Yesterday, we crossed the Antarctic convergence with a sudden rise in water temperature from -1 to +2 degrees occurring just after midday (UTC+7). The wind is now blowing from the north-west which is giving us a helping hand and allowing us to maintain around 12 knots at the moment. We have taken a more easterly turn this morning.
All on board are bracing for the big time zone change tomorrow night.
