Comments

Successful trial of both CTD winches to 3000M today. Each CTD trial takes around three hours with a changeover time between winches. Personnel also spent time preparing the ship for Voyage three which is conducting numerous marine science projects requiring full utilization of the back deck. It is going to be a busy and hectic back deck during V3.

Tomorrow we are planning on another 3000M CTD dip, test the trace metal winch, and then more midwater trawling. The forecast looks great so we will be having another big day.

REGARDS: Phil and Rick.
