Comments

Both weather and sea conditions continue to be unreasonably pleasant.

Yesterday afternoon we passed northward of 43 degrees south which means that, this morning, we are considerably further north that the headquarters of the Australian Antarctic Division in Kingston, Tasmania. This means that Head Office is now technically “down south” and should be sending in sitreps to us.

Meanwhile, up north, we’ve given up on packing and decided to write reports about the voyage marine science program instead. With less than 1000 nautical miles to go, it looks like I am going to have to average quite a few words per mile over the next few days.

In other news, all expeditioners on board missed the clock change last night.
