Comments

Well, the weather has cleared and once again, the station has been revealed to us. After the blizzard, we are trying to restart cargo and fuel operations. The wind is toying with us; jumping up and down in the last 20 minutes.

The fuel hose has just been run out and will be ready for pressure testing shortly while the barge has been experimentally manoeuvring around the ship to see if the winds are OK for operation. Our cargo barge is known as the jet barge but the resemblance to an F-111 ends right there. It will, however, get the job done if the winds drop just a little bit more.

Every load is a victory and here comes the first one of the morning. Rarely have I been so pleased to see sludge tanks.
